MILAM Jack F. Milam, 81, passed away Sunday, November 20 in Jacksonville, Florida. He was born on July 18, 1935 to James and Ruby Milam. A long-time Florida Gators fan and a talented musician, he was the loving husband of 61 years to Nancy (Brown). Father of Patricia (Greenlee) and David, Grandfather of Rebecca Milam Freeman, Sarah Cogen and Christopher Greenlee, Great Grandfather to Eleanor Cogen. He was Grandaddy to all. Jack served in the US Air Force prior to being employed with Southern Bell Telephone in Orlando. He was promoted to Headquarters in Atlanta in 1971 then assigned to Panama City in 1973. At the time of his retirement in 1991 with 38 years of service, he was Supervising Engineer ESS in Jacksonville. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to K9's for Warriors. ( www.k9sforwarriors.org) Visitation will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm on Sunday, November 27 in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin.
