Jack Edward Connor, age 85 of Philadelphia, died on Tuesday, December 29,2019. He was born in South Philadelphia on February 23, 1934, son of the late Edward Joseph and Laura (Collins) Connor. He was the beloved husband of the late Rose Connor.

He graduated from South Philadelphia High School Class of 1952. He then went onto serve his country honorably in the United States Navy from 1954-1961. Jack was employed by Phoenix Steel as a cost accountant for over 31 years with his brother, Edward. He enjoyed all things to do with the beach, reading, baseball and football. He was a family man, who loved his wife, children, great nieces and nephews. 

He is survived by: 1 daughter, Eileen Connor of Philadelphia. 3 nieces, Colleen Pruski (Jerry) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Patricia Tanking (John) of Harrisburg and Sharon Connor of Bridgeport; 6 great nieces and nephews, Aaron, Sara, Eddie, Michael, Lauren and Erin. He was predeceased by his brother, Edward Connor.
