We mourn the passing of a true hero, Jack Parks Jr, affectionately known as “Jackie Boy”. Born on January 19, 1939, in Macon, Georgia. On February 13, 2026, the world lost a beloved father, husband, and esteemed member of the community.
Jack was the loving son of Jack Parks Sr. and Elsie Parks. He leaves behind a legacy of love and strength to his five devoted children, Dezerel Parks, Xavier Parks, Jacqueline Parks, Kezia Parks, and Melissa Parks. He was a dedicated father who always put his family first. He also left behind 6 sisters and 2 brothers and a host of nieces and nephews.
Jack attended Manchester High School and later enlisted in the US Army, where he served with honor and courage as a Sergeant. He was a true patriot who dedicated his life to serving his country and protecting the freedoms we hold dear.
Jack will be remembered for his bravery, resilience, and unwavering commitment to his family. He touched the lives of countless individuals and leaves behind a legacy that will never be forgotten. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Rest in peace, Jack Parks. You will always be remembered as a true American hero.
