On November 3, 2024, South Bend, Indiana, United States lost a beloved member of its community. Izumi Benson, born on August 4, 1999, passed away at the age of 25.

Throughout her life, Izumi touched the lives of many with her kindness, generosity, and infectious laughter. She was known for her vibrant personality and unwavering positivity, always bringing light into the lives of those around her.

Though Izumi had no children of her own, she was a devoted friend and confidante to many. Her friendships were cherished and her loyalty was unmatched.

Although her time with us was too short, Izumi's memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed.
