Seidl, IrmaIrma Seidl, age 96 of Kewaunee died on November 7, 2016 at Aurora Baycare Medical Center. She was born on November 23, 1919 in the Town of Carlton to the late William and Caroline (Peters) Chapman, the youngest of five children.On April 12, 1947 she married Frank Seidl and together they had one daughter, Carolyn. They spent their lives farming in the Town of Carlton. Irma was extremely self educated and read widely on a variety of topics. She was an integral part of her immediate family, her extended family and her neighborhood. Her door was always open for a good cup of tea and a good conversation.Survivors include her daughter: Carolyn O'Leary and special friend, Gerald Gries of Manitowoc; her step-grandchildren and their families: Shannon and Gary Zimmerman; Tiki and Ken Bellin; Katy O'Leary and Scott Pancratz; Thomas and Kayla Gries and one sister-in-law: Mary Reinke. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and their spouses and great nieces and nephews and their spouses, all of whom had a special place in her heart. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; her son-in-law: Thomas O'Leary; her parents-in-law: Wencil and Anna Seidl; her siblings: Rilla (Ed) Mueller; Mabel (Frank) Debot; Bill (Mary) Chapman and Elmer Chapman. Her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Art (Philomene) Seidl; John (Arlene) Seidl; Joe (Issy) Seidl; Ann (Mel) Paplham and Quinten Reinke.On November 7, she left this world in a flurry of pink, down a tree lined street to her Heavenly home. She will be missed.Friends may call after 9:00 a.m. Friday, November 11 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, N2441 St. Peter's Rd, Kewaunee until the time of services.
