It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Iris Byron, who passed away on April 23, 2023, in New Rochelle, New York. Born on October 6, 1923, Iris lived a long and happy life filled with love and adventure.

As the daughter of Andrew and Eliza Carr, Iris was always destined for greatness. She married the love of her life, Reginald Byron of 20 years, and together they had one child, Jonelle Byron. Though Iris will be sorely missed by her family, we find comfort in knowing the memories they created together will last a lifetime.

Iris was a dedicated nurse, always lending a helping hand to those in need. Her cheerful smile and infectious laugh brightened the day of everyone she encountered. Iris was loved by her co-workers and patients alike, and her legacy as a caring and compassionate nurse will never be forgotten.

It's hard to believe that Iris is no longer with us. However, we take solace in knowing that we had the privilege of sharing in her wonderful life. Though we will miss her terribly, we will look back on her life with fondness and gratitude for all the joy she brought into our lives. She Leaves behind many nieces and nephews as well as brothers and sisters.
