It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Irene Ridlon, who left this world on July 20, 2025, at the age of 93, in Burlington, Massachusetts, United States.

She was born on May 8, 1932, to Otto and Janet Addonizio, in a loving household that nurtured her kind and generous spirit. Irene married the love of her life, Ritchie Ridlon, in 1958, and together they raised two wonderful children, Elizabeth and Christopher.

Irene was a graduate of Weymouth High School, where she excelled in academics and made lifelong friendships. She had a passion for music, and her beautiful voice could often be heard filling the house as she sang her favorite songs.

In addition to her dedication to her family, Irene found joy in being a grandmother to her four adoring grandchildren. She was a pillar of strength and support for all who knew her, always ready with a listening ear and a comforting embrace.

Although she is no longer with us, Irene's spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched. Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire and guide us as we navigate life's journey without her.

Rest in peace, Irene Ridlon. You will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
