Irene MartinZANESVILLE: Irene (Moses) Martin, 91, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sat. May 7, 2016. She was born on April 27, 1925 in Whitley City, Kentucky to Isham and Minnie (Strunk) Moses. Irene worked at Essex Wire until she became a mother. She then became a stay at home Mom to her four children. She loved spending time with her family.She is survived by Ray Martin, whom she married July 5, 1960. Three daughters Renee Stackhouse, Sandra Martin, and Melody Martin. One sister Ann Brown. A special niece Janice Rush. Her grandchildren Brandon and Tanner Stackhouse, Melissa Schneider, Michelle Burns, Jonathon and Katelyn Gibson. Five great-grandchildren Madalynn, Alex, Maci, Lincoln, and Aribella.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Michael Ray Martin. Four brothers Hobert, Herbert, Bernard, and Alvie Moses. Several nieces and nephews.Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Tue.
