Irene Kristensen LombardoAGE: 88 •Irene Kristensen Lombardo, loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother died on January 19, 2017 at the age of 88. Irene was born on June 5, 1928 in New Brunswick, NJ, one of 9 daughters, to Anna and Carl Kristensen. Irene lived her first 77 years happily in New Brunswick before moving with her husband John to Oklahoma City, OK to be with family. She is preceded in death by her husband John and sisters Ann, June, Rosemarie and Alma. Irene is survived by her daughters Agnes Lener and husband Robert of West Hartford, CT and Joanne Hutchison and her husband Gary of Oklahoma City, OK, her sisters Doris, Barbara, Marie and Ruth, her five grandchildren Jason Lener, Shannon Lener, Heather Kelpine, Heidi Kruger and Hillary Glendinning, and 12 great grandchildren. Irene's love and caring was shared with everyone she met. Even those not related by blood came to embrace her as a mother.
