Irene Williams, beloved resident of Mexia, Texas, passed away on February 7, 2026, at the age of 82.

Irene was born on September 9, 1943, and lived a full and vibrant life. She was known for her love of cooking and sewing, always whipping up delicious meals and creating beautiful handmade garments for her loved ones.

Irene leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, having raised her 4 children, Alvin Reed, Tabatha Reed, Shelia Reed, and Veronica Reed, who brought her immense joy. She also had the privilege of being a grandmother to 10 wonderful grandchildren.

Despite facing cognitive decline in her later years, Irene always maintained her sense of humor and positivity, spreading joy wherever she went. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
