Ira Pitts, age 87, of Twin Falls, Idaho, passed away on July 23, 2024. He was born on July 3, 1937, to Ira and Cora Pitts in Buhl, Idaho.

In 1956, Ira married the love of his life, Reta Pitts, and together they raised two children: Jan Capps (Bob) and Nomie Dreier (Jeff) He was so proud of his 2 Grandsons Lance(Lonnie) Paul, Tucker (Jennifer) Johnson and adored his 6 great grandchildren. Samantha,Taytum, Tenley, Paxton, Payson, and Shelby.

Ira attended Filer High School and graduated in 1955 After completing his education, he proudly served in the Army.

Throughout his life, Ira enjoyed working on cars, riding horses, and helping his family with anything and everything he could to take care of his them. He had a special love for animals, especially horses and dogs.

Mel will be remembered for his dedication to his family and his kind-hearted nature, his work ethic, and always standing by his word. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
