Iola Ida-Mae Wilks ,73, passed Thursday, June 26,2017. She was born to B.W and Cathy Jeffery September 6,1944 in Forrest City, Arkansas. Iola graduated from Forrest City High School in 1962 and married Louis Frank Wilks Sr. in 1964.

Iola is survived by 6 children: Louis Wilks Jr., Stephanie Wilks-Smith (Justin Smith), Hidera Wilks-Johnson (Daniel Johnson), David Wilks, Langston Wilks (Laura Wilks), and Robert Wilks (Sarah Wilks). She also is survived by 32 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces,nephews and her best friend of over 55 years, Sonya Rice.
