Evensen, IlseIlse Evensen (Becker) was born on 10/3/30 in Milwaukee, WI. She attended Washington High School and graduated in 1948. She met Charles (Chuck) Evensen at the VA Hospital in Milwaukee and was married in 1956. They moved to Grafton, WI and raised their two girls Debbie and Linda. They moved to Wisconsin Rapids in 1978 and retired to Lake Camelot which they enjoyed for over 20 years. They eventually moved into Pirco Park where they enjoyed their retirement years. Ilse suffered from Dementia and moved to Minnesota in 2015 to Summit Place in Eden Prairie. She has lived there the past two years and passed away peacefully on August 31st. Ilse is survived by her daughters, Debbie, who resides in Eden Prairie, Minnesota and her husband Clint Dorgan and their 17-year-old daughter, Samantha. Samantha was Ilse's pride and joy. Ilse's other daughter Linda is married to Steve Obermann. Her beloved sister, Ann Girlinghouse, resides in Franklin, WI with her daughter Diane Henseler. Ilse was active in the Disabled American Veterans Association in Wisconsin Rapids, and enjoyed many years of volunteering at the local hospitals. Funeral service will be held at Washburn McReavy in Eden Prairie on September 6th @ 4:30 PM with visitation 1 hour prior to the service at the chapel.In Lieu of flowers please make donations to the , P.O.
