She was born on May 21, 1924 to Ralph and Mildred Helt in Rochester, Indiana.She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Rakich and son-in-law, Ronald Bruce. She is survived by four daughters, Mary Bruce of Bethlehem, CT, Millie Furs (Dennis) of Punta Gorda, FL, Nancy Jankowski (Henry) of Englewood, FL and Joann Stevens (Jim) of Newark, DE. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.Burial will be private in Connecticut.
