Ida E. Ludwig1935 - 2016Ida E. Ludwig, 81, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, Sunday, Aug. 14, 2016, at Kenosha Senior Living.She was born on Feb. 9, 1935, to the late John M. and Nora (Cavanagh) Babbitt in San Francisco, Calif. She was educated in San Francisco and graduated from Mission High School.On Sept. 4, 1954, she married Robert J. Ludwig in San Francisco. He preceded her in death on March 4, 1992.Ida was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church.Ida enjoyed swimming and being very active at the KYF. Ida was very artistic woman, painting with water and oil colors, drawing and crafts. She liked gardening and volunteering at the Anderson Art Center. She was also a docent at the Kemper Center.Ida is survived by her children Joseph (Nancy) Ludwig of Green Oaks, Ill., Julie (John) Stancato of Kenosha, Robert (Diane) Ludwig of Mundelein, Ill., and Susan (John Rocco) Resnick-Buccella of Greensburg, Penn., her grandchildren Jason Pitsch, Jennifer (Michael) Pitsch-Boss, Jamison (Cassandra) Pitsch, Jacob Pitsch, Leah (Jason) Soderland, Joey Skarr Ludwig, Luke Ludwig, Bridgette Ludwig, Joshua Resnick and Taylor Resnick, her great grandchildren Hailey Boss, Michael Boss Jr., Jamison Pitsch Jr., and Ellianna Pitsch, her sister Diane Flournoy of Reno, Nev., and her brother John Babbitt of Watsonville, Calif.Her sister Gemma Babbitt precedes her in death.A Mass of Christian Burial for Ida will be held on Thursday, Aug. 18, at 10 a.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church (2020-91st St.). Interment will follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home.
