Enriquez, Humberto "Herbie" D.Humberto "Herbie" D. Enriquez, 82, of Sheboygan, passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee. Herbie was born on February 7, 1934 in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico to Andres Daniel and Guillermina (Aguirre) Enriquez. He graduated from High School and attended college near Laredo. On August 5, 1962 he was united in marriage to Merlyn Storbeck in Waukegan, IL. He served in the US Army. One of Herbie's proudest days came in 1972 when he became a US Citizen. Herbie was a machinist for 39 years at Bolens in Port Washington. Having a strong faith he was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. Herbie loved life, and made sure to live each day to the fullest. Family was his greatest joy, he always made sure to have time for them. Creating memories with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were what he lived for. Herbie had a heart of gold and was always helping someone, no job was ever too big or small. His sense of humor will never be forgotten. Herbie enjoyed camping, practical jokes, and dusting, polishing, and cleaning. He also enjoyed his time playing cribbage and dominoes with his family and friends. Herbie is survived by his wife Merlyn, children; Peggy Sixel, Steven (Karen) Mahlendorf, Rachel (Gary) Morgan, and Scott (Janice) Enriquez, 13 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson, by his brother Jose G. Arredondo and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Andres Enriquez, mother Guillermina Arredondo, step-father Jose R. Arredondo, daughter Cheryl Guenther, granddaughter Erin Rae Enriquez, and son-in-law Gerald Sixel.A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at 5:00 PM at Zimmer-Westview Funeral & Cremation Care Center W2132 Garton Rd. Sheboygan, with Rev. Jim Schulz officiating.
