Howard Ferns, age 80, passed away on January 11, 2025, in Port Huron, Michigan, United States. He was born on January 5, 1945, to Nelson and Ferns. Howard leaves behind a loving family, including his children: Shelley Harju (spouse Todd Harju), Sheryl Harju (spouse Neil Harju), Shannon Pung (spouse Brandon Pung), Howard Ferns Jr. (spouse Kim Ferns), Amanda Brandt (spouse Josh Brandt), and Andy Ferns (spouse Taylor Dewitt). He is also survived by five grandchildren.

Howard graduated from Port Huron High School in 1963 and went on to work at PH&D, where he dedicated many years of his life before retiring in 1984. In his free time, Howard enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his family.

Howard will be remembered for his kind heart, sense of humor, and love for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Howard Ferns passed away after a brave battle with bladder cancer. May he rest in peace.
