Horace O'Rear, 58, of Detroit, Michigan, passed on May 08, 2016. Horace was born on November 23, 1957. He was born to William Addison O'Rear II and Louise Conley O'Rear both preceded him in death. Horace was the third eldest of six children.

Horace accepted Christ at an early age under the leadership of the late Bishop Eady New Shiloh Baptist Church (Det). Horace was educated in the Detroit Public School System.

Horace later enlisted in the United States Army. While stationed in Texas Horace met and married the love of his life Lamesa R. Hayes and to their union four children. Horace was such a fun-loving person. His passion was making someone else laugh through his comedic talents.

Everyone Horace came in contact with he had a slogan for them"Give me 10 years till I see you again","Hello my name is Big Blue from Kalamazoo I thought you knew","Say homegirl or homeboy I need you to put something with something to make something so I can have something."

Horace was definitely a family man, his number one priority was his children, grandchildren and to make certain his siblings, nieces and nephews were on one accord. He made his transition to his Heavenly home May 8, 2016.

He leaves behind: Wife Lamesa Ray Hayes; son: Anthony Wayne Hayes; three daughters: Tynesha Nicole Hayes, Lakrisha Monae' Hayes and Horlesha Renee Hayes all of Texas; three granddaughters: Latavia, Ju'Niyah and Kelli; two grandson: Karsen and La'Kaden Hayes all of Texas. Brother: William Addison O'Rear III and Tyree O'Rear preceded him in death; three sisters: Beatrice O'Rear, Amy O'Rear and Anita Jackson; goddaughter Kimberly Schley-Woodfolk; nineteen nieces and nephews: Sajuna O'Rear, Tyree O'Rear, Alphonso Jackson and Aramis O'Rear and Jackie Brown; forty-three great nieces and nephews; and six great-great nieces and nephews; two cousins whom he grew up with Morris Clark of California and Eddie Caldwell of Georgia; brother-in-law Andre Jackson of Colorado; best friend: Louis Berry of Texas; Charlie Sanders, Dwight Patterson (Cookie), Donald Rice And Stanley Larry who precedes him death; the entire Atlas Van Line Atlantic Relocation Trucking Co. where he worked until death.
