Horace Turner, age 79, of Burlington, North Carolina, passed away on January 5, 2026. He was born on July 19, 1946, to parents James and Beatrice Turner.

Horace was married to his beloved spouse for 55 years and together they had one son, Mark Turner, who is survived by his spouse Traci Caulder. Horace was also a loving grandfather to three grandchildren.

In his free time, Horace enjoyed playing basketball and spending time with his family. He will be remembered for his kind heart, sense of humor, and love for the game of basketball.

Horace Turner will be deeply missed by his family and friends, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
