GRIFTON - Hilda Hollingsworth Langston, 77, of Grifton passed away at her home on Tuesday, November 27, 2012. She was born on September 14, 1935, in Wayne County to the late Harvey and Essie Hollingsworth. Preceding her in death is one son, Billy Dale Langston. Survivors include her husband, Willie "Billy" Langston Jr. of the home; one daughter, Sharon Langston Formy-Duval and husband Jody, of Grifton; two sons, Randy Langston and wife Tracie, of Kinston, Dean Langston of Grifton; her sister, Essie Mae Reeves of Fremont; grandchildren Misty Herring and husband Matt, Stacy Britt and husband Jonathan, Matthew Formy-Duval, Austin Langston and wife Katie, Travis Langston, Brandon Langston, Lindsay Herring and husband Brent, Kaitlyn Langston, and Kelsey Langston; great-grandchildren, Kayla Britt, Nathan Britt, Mallory Herring, Macy Herring, and Connor Herring; nephew Kent Reeves and wife Betty Jean, and their children, Paige Hudson and husband Keith and Travis Reeves. Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at Howard-Carter Funeral Home with Dr. Mike Creekmore officiating. Visitation will follow the service and other times at the home. Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 29, 2012, at Stantonsburg City Cemetery.
