Herlenia Jackson, was born on October 23, 1976, in Winston Salem, NC to Marlon and Betty Renee Jackson. She was a native and a life long resident, and attended the Forsyth County school systems. Herlenia was a loving and devoted mother, sister, daughter, and friend.

Herlenia departed this life on June 13, 2025 at home surrounded by close loved ones after a long battle with lung cancer. Herlenia leaves behind her cherished memories to her daughters Wilma and Devon Jackson; two granddaughters; Marley Stone and Destiney Jackson. Sister Jessica Mitchell; Brother Derrick Mitchell and a host of other cousins and close relatives.

Herlenia leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will be remembered by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
