Schettl, HerbertHerbert M. Schettl, age 81, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on July 1, 1935 to the late Ferdinand and Evelyn Schettl in Oshkosh. Herbert married Mildred E. Nummerdor on November 3, 1956 in Oshkosh.Herbert was a machinist at Rockwell Int'l for 30 years. He was an accomplished tradesman and carpenter and enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. He traveled the lower 48 states. Herbert was a private pilot and owned his own plane.Herbert is survived by his son, Michael Schettl; daughters, Cynthia (Bill) Voshol, Deborah (Stu) Challoner, Pamela (Bob) Kasuboski; grandchildren, Jalaine Sperger, Carson Schettl, Alexandra and Ashleigh Voshol, Matthew and Hannah Challoner, Brenton, Devin and Nathan Kasuboski; brothers, Richard, Harold, Melvin and Ron Schettl; sister, Diane Wilsey.Herbert was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred and brother, Earl Schettl.Services for Herbert will be at 11:00 am on Friday, November 25, 2016 at St. Raphael's Catholic Church, (830 South Westhaven Dr.), with Father Edward Looney officiating. Friends and family may visit at the church from 9:30 am until time of service. Burial will be at Lake View Memorial Park, Oshkosh.
