Herbert (Herb) Levi Ernst, 88, of Tisdale, Saskatchewan, passed on September 24, 2021. Herb was born on May 13, 1933 to Herbert and Mabel Ernst. He grew up on a farm and attended school in the Eltham District, later in Watrous.

Herb met Patricia Hedin at a Dahlton dance and they were married on October 3, 1952 at Dahlton Luthern Church. Herb farmed for many years and helped set up seed cleaning plants, finally settling down in Tisdale where he worked for Tisdale Parks and Recreation.

But the best job of all was being the father of five, grandpa, and great grandpa to all he left behind.

Herb will be forever remembered by his children Gerald, Leonard (Debbie), David (Rae Ann), Cindy, and all his grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter Marie (Jim Wollman), wife Patricia, and 2 infant grandchildren.
