JONESHerbert “Herb” Jr. Herbert “Herb” Jones Jr., 67, of Holland, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at his home. He was born on September 18, 1949 in Middlesboro, Kentucky to Herbert and Delphia (Frasure) Jones and he married Sharon L. Lewis on February 7, 1970 in Temperance, Michigan. Herb served our country proudly, fighting in the Vietnam War from 1970-1971 as a part of the Army. He was a welder at AP Parts for 30 years, retiring in 1999. Herb enjoyed spending time with his friends and looked forward to their monthly get-togethers. One of Herb's greatest pleasures in life was getting to spend time with his family.He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Jones; children, Tina McGovern (Brad Stammen), Dawn Jones; grandchildren Erik McGovern, Katelyn McGovern, Jolene Leasure, Joselyn Leasure; brothers Jim “Melvin” (Debbie) Jones, Donnie (Sandy) Jones. He was preceded in death by his parents.Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Neville Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel.
