BUNNELL Helene Cameron Bunnell, age 101, Jacksonville, Fla. passed away on February 5, 2017. She was born on April 20 1915 in Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania. She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Wayne Keithline Bunnell, one brother, Erwin Cameron and a sister Carmita Cameron Murphy. She is survived by her son, Richard Wayne Bunnell (Wynelle) of Jacksonville, grandson Brian (Amanda) and grandchildren Kenna and Evan Bunnell of Greer, SC. Helene's extended family includes several step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Helene was devoted to her family and one could say she truly lived life to the fullest. Last April she celebrated her 101st birthday with a party, which included family and friends from her hometown of Montrose, Pennsylvania, Illinois, California, South Carolina and Georgia. The party extended into the next day with a trip to Deland, Florida, where she participated in a three generational skydiving jump with her son, Richard and grandson, Brian. This was her 4th jump, and believed to be the world's record in skydiving history at age 101.
