Helen S. Henandez age 88, passed on in her home in Del Rio on January 24, 2022. Helen was born on December 20 , 1933 in Chihuahua Mexico, she was the daughter of James & Louise (Hernandez). Early in her life Helen own and operated Johnny Boy drive in. She later went onto working at Linder Elementary s a Parent Representative Specialist where she helped many parents navigate their needs to helping their children. She had spent the last 15 years retired enjoying life at home with her Grandaughter Royce H. Brown And her Grandson Kenneth Smith.
She was a member of Oakdale Baptist Church.
Helen is survived by her Brother Leonardo S. Parlante, Nephew David S Parlante, Grandaughter Royce Brown and Grandson Kenneth Smith .

A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, Febuary 4 2022 at Bass-Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Rev Daniel Parker officiating. Burial will follow at Burke Sacred Church.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Saturday Febuary 5, 2022 at the funeral home.
