CAMPBELLHelen MayHelen (Hampton) Campbell, 87, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2016, at in Perrysburg. She was born on May 27, 1929, in Toledo, Ohio to Donald and Beatrice “Portia” (VanNatta) Hampton.Among Helen's happiest memories were her days at Waite High School and her jobs at Newbury School, Valley Farm Foods, and Miss Lucille's Catering. She and her family enjoyed traveling to California and Florida, camping at Twin Acres, and playing euchre and dominoes. Her grandchildren will always remember playing dress up and putting on plays which Grandma faithfully recorded. Helen also took great pride in researching her family history.Left to cherish Helen's memory are her husband of 66 years, James Campbell; sons, James (Vicky) and Michael (Jean); daughters, Lynn (John) Jagos and Julie (James) McCann. Helen was the proud grandma of Deana Kohler, Alyson Campbell Walker, Andrew Hudak, Abbey Campbell, Angela Campbell Bihn, Sarah McCann Herman, Mary Ann Campbell, Amy Campbell Foster, Emily Jagos, James McCann, Katie Campbell Hornstein, John Jagos and Meg McCann; as well as the great-grandma of Jess Hymore, Brandon Hymore, Aubree Walker, Cydnee Walker, Brinley Foster, Sloane Hudak, Benjamin Bihn, Jack Herman and Preston Hudak. Helen will also be greatly missed by her sisters, Donna Johansen, Dorothy Johansen, Ruth Nemecek, Joyce Macek, Shirley Roth, Judie Kerchevall, and Rita Baranski; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Donald (Pete) and Richard.Arrangements have been entrusted to Freck Funeral Chapel.
