Helen J. Kriston1918 - 2013Helen J. Kriston, 95, of Beach Park, Ill. died Friday, Dec. 20, 2013, at Hospitality Manor. She was born on Dec. 19, 1918, in Gallitzen Penn., she was the daughter of the late Charles and Louise (Panacz) Graca. She was educated in the schools of Pennsylvania. On Sept. 15, 1946, she married Jacob Kriston, Chicago Ill. She enjoyed cooking and homemaking. Helen loved life and her whole life with her husband was devoted to raising her eight children and being part of her grandchildrens lives. She enjoyed playing board games with her loved ones. She especially will be remembered for her unconditional love for her family. Mom looked forward to what the Bible promises a resurrection to life on earth. As her family we are forever privileged for having her as our mother.Survivors include her children, Rita (Ronnie) Witt of Kenosha, Michael Kriston of Appleton, Paul Kriston of Beach Park, Ill., Joseph (Debbie) Kriston of Phoenix Ariz., and Frank Kriston of Kenosha; a sister, Mary Ammerman of Houston Tex. Helen is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jacob in 2008, daughter Anna in 1984, sons Charles in 2001 and Henry in 2009.Visitation will be held on Friday, Dec. 27, 2013, at Kenosha Funeral Services at 10 a.m. to 12 noon with services to follow at noon.
