On August 6, 2024, the world lost a bright light with the passing of Helen Jones of Durham, North Carolina. Born on December 5, 1950, Helen lived a life filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories.

Helen was a dedicated educator who spent her career making a positive impact on the lives of countless children at Durham Public School. Her passion for teaching and nurturing young minds was evident in everything she did, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of all those she touched.

Outside of her professional life, Helen was a beloved mother to her one child, who brought her infinite joy and pride. She adored spending time with her five grandchildren, creating unforgettable moments and imparting wisdom that will guide them throughout their lives.

Although Helen's physical presence may be gone, her spirit will continue to shine brightly through the memories and love she shared with all who knew her. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
