We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Helen Pear, who was born on September 16, 1942, and died on July 26, 2024, in Charleston, South Carolina, United States.

Helen was the beloved daughter of Henry and Mary Gourdine. She was married to Isaac Pear in the year 1962 and together they had four children: Pamela Pear, Lorie Market, Karen (who was married to Vincent Frayer), and Isaac Pear III.

Helen was a devoted mother and grandmother, and leaves behind seven cherished grandchildren. She studied at Charleston County High School and remained an active member of the community throughout her life.

Helen will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and unwavering love for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
