We are deeply saddened by the passing of Hattie Rhinehart on December 23, 2025, in Lansing, Michigan. She was born on August 22, 1934, to Levi Frances Rhinehart and Dinah W. Stroud.

Hattie is survived by her four children: Rudolph V. Griffin Jr. (Tino) with spouse Ciara M. Hudson, Montrello Griffin (Monty), Darryl Griffin with spouse Kimberly, and Tisha Y. Griffin. She was a loving grandmother to four grandchildren.

Hattie attended J.W. Sexton High School and went on to work at General Motors Oldsmobile, where she dedicated many years of service before retiring in 1989.

Outside of work, Hattie enjoyed cooking, playing bingo, and traveling to new places.

Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Rest in peace, Hattie Rhinehart.
