Harvey Edward TaylorVero Beach, FLHarvey Edward Taylor died Saturday, April 8, at VNA Hospice of Vero Beach at the age of 90. Harvey was born on May 31, 1926 in Columbia, Alabama to Harvey and Lillie Webb Taylor, the third of six children.He was a graduate of Auburn University and a veteran of World War II. He was employed in the sale of agricultural products and real estate. A resident of Vero Beach since 1958, he was an active member of First Baptist Church and King's Baptist Church.Harvey was married to his high school sweetheart Juanita Cooke for 67 years until her death in 2014. They were seasonal members of Laurel Fork Baptist Church in Boone, North Carolina.Harvey is survived by two sons; Ed and David (Pilar), one daughter; Elaine, one brother; Harold, two sisters; Wilma Yance and Marjorie Odom and two grandchildren. He is predeceased by his wife Juanita, two brothers; Herman and Wallace, and his daughter-in-law Linda.Services will be held on Saturday, April 22 at Kings Baptist Church located at 3235 58th Avenue, Vero Beach with visitation at 2:00PM with the service to follow at 3:30PM.In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting contributions to the Kings Baptist Church Building Fund.Arrangements are handled by Aycock Funeral Home.
