Harry William Smith, Sr, 69, of Leland Ct, York, SC, passed away August 9, 2016 at Piedmont Medical Center, Rock Hill, SC. Memorial Service will be 2:00 PM on Saturday August 13, 2016 at M.L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home, 4820 Charlotte Hwy, Lake Wylie, SC. The family will receive friends one hour before the service. Mr. Smith was born on September 15, 1946 in St. Louis, MO to the late Harry Vincent and Catherine Johnson Smith. He was a Vietnam Veteran having served in the US Marine Corps from 1964 to 1974. He is survived by his wife, Arlene Marie Fisher Smith; daughter, Kimberly S. Tison (Christopher) of York, SC; two sons, Scott V. Smith of York, SC and Harry W. Smith, Jr. of Lake Mary, FL; three sisters, Dorothy Messner, Brenda Bathon, and Wanda Wright; five grandchildren.
