Harry Dickerson, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on December 9, 2025, at the age of 80 in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was born on August 31, 1945, to Harry Dickerson Sr. and grew up in Louisiana.

Harry married the love of his life, Mary Brooks Dickerson, in 1976. Together, they raised three children: Trenice Brooks, Wilbert Williams, and Harry Dickerson Jr. He was also a proud grandfather to four grandchildren. Tanisha Brooks, Amyri Thomas, Whitley, and Wilbert Williams.

Harry attended MacDonald 35 High School and graduated in 1960. After high school, he served in the Army as a Second Lieutenant before beginning a career at the United Methodist Church. He dedicated many years to the church community before retiring in 2008.

Harry will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his service to his country, and his commitment to his faith. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
