Borland, Harris,Harris Borland, Jr., 77, of Louisville, Kentucky went in peace to meet his Heavenly Father on June 5, 2017. Harris was a 1959 graduate of Flaget High School and received a college degree through the Air National Guard. He retired from the Kentucky Air National Guard after 30 years of civil service as a Chief Master Sergeant Comptroller. Harris was born on June 3, 1940 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Harris and Lillian (Carraro) Borland. He was also preceded in death by his sister Penny Borland. He is survived by his wife, Alice (Brey) Borland, son Bret (Lori) Borland, grandchildren Jake and Cooper Borland and a host of family and friends. Visitation will be from 1:30 pm until the time of the prayer service at 4:00 pm on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243). A celebration of Harris' life will follow that evening starting at 7:00 pm at the Windsor Gate Club House (8601 Ambrosse Lane Jeffersontown, KY 40299).
