On June 2, 1937, Harris Alonzo Nesbitt was born to Anna Belle & Rudolph Nesbitt.

On March 30, 1969, He married his Wife, Alice Barrett. A few months later on July 11, 1969, he dedicated his life to Jehovah.

He was an active member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in the Claremont Park Congregation in Bronx, NY, where he served as an Elder in the congregation. After retiring from the New York Telephone Company, Harris/Alonzo and Alice moved to Orangeburg, SC. There is where he began serving as a pioneer, a full time minister.

Lonzo or Harry was a devoted Husband, Father, Elder, Mentor, and Friend to many for many years.

On Saturday, January 21st, our beloved Harris Alonzo Nesbitt was called to rest.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Alice Nesbitt, Daughters: Stephany, Tishia, Sybill, Selena, Robin, Schaleen. Sons: Melvin, Gary, Bill, and Alonzo Jr.

His deceased children are Rebecca, Felicia, Mia, Nyoka, and Alan

Along with a host of grand and great grandkids, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends in the congregations.
