Harold G. Pope, 94, of Englewood, Flordia, passed Monday, May 21, 2018. Harold was born to Roger H. Pope, and Eugenia L. Gordon, January 23, 1924, in Englewood, Florida. He married Claira V. Bloodworth in 1945, and they lived together in Pineview. Harold worked as a Mechanic/ Welder until he retired in 1998. He also volunteered at the American Red Cross, Peace Corps, and the American Cancer Society.

At his request, a service will be held Saturday, May 26, 2018, at his home in Englewood, Flordia. Harold enjoyed many things in his life including spending time with his family and sitting on his porch watching the ocean. He is preceded in death by both parents, his wife Claira, and their unborn son Michael.

Harold is survived by 3 children: Donald D. Pope (Brenda G.), Gray L. Pope (Mary-Ann B.), and Virginia C. Pope (Roger K. Bellmont ). He also is survived by 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
