HAMLET — Mr. Harold Francis Quick, 71, died on Jan. 16, 2016 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
He was born on April 7, 1944, son of Douglas Quick and Virginia Stubbs Quick.
Mr. Quick was a member of Gibson United Methodist Church and previously worked at Lanesboro Correctional.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at Harrington Funeral Home.
At other times the family will receive friends at home of his son Timothy at 284 Scotland Co. Line Road in Hamlet.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Gibson United Methodist Church, the Revs. John and Patricia Butson and Dr. William K. Quick be officiating. Burial will follow at Richmond Memorial Park, Rockingham.
He is survived by his wife Ann Norton Quick of the home, daughter Melissa Ellen Knight of Hamlet, sons Harold Douglas Quick of Hamlet, Timothy David Quick of Hamlet and John Christopher Quick of Laurinburg, brothers Dr. William K. Quick of Durham and Michael Douglas Quick of Hamlet, seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, two step grandchildren, and one step great-grandchild.
