It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Harold Clontz, who peacefully left this world on August 2, 2024, in Fredericksburg City, Virginia, United States. He was born on April 4, 1950, to Virgil Lee Clontz and Pearl Kay Wright Clontz.

Harold was a loving husband to Sandra Lou Clontz, whom he married in 1971. Together, they raised two children, Harold Douglas Clontz Jr and Teresa Louise McWhirt, with her spouse Chad Wayne McWhirt. Harold was a proud grandfather to three grandchildren. And 3 great grandchildren

Harold will be remembered for his kind heart, sense of humor, and unwavering love for his family. He was a devoted father, husband, and grandfather who always put his loved ones first.

Harold battled cancer with courage and grace, and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

He will be dearly missed and forever loved. No services are planned at this time. Johnson Funeral Home, Locust Grove, is handling the arrangements.
