DRAFT - Harold Chisolm, affectionally known as Mr. Bubba was born to the late Arthur Jones (Pops) and Essie Mae Williams on October 10, 1931 in Meridian, Mississippi. He was raised by his Mother and Stepfather Miles Robinson (Mr. Deacon) and was educated in the Meridian Public School system. He later moved to Detroit, MI where he met and married Virginia Lee. This union was blessed with three children Harold Jr., Theresa, and Betty Jean, and he also raised one of her daughters as his own, Virginia (Pete). After Virginia’s passing Harold later married Betty Allen. This union was blessed with two children Del and Marlon and he also raised two of her children as his own Eric and Michelle. 

 Beloved by many, Harold was truly a loving and dedicated husband and father who was also loyal to his family and friends. He loved baseball and the blues, he also loved to hit the road and traveling the country to go visit his family in the south. Harold was a very proud former employee of Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, MI for (???) years retiring in 20(?? ). Rarely missing a day he was dedicated to his job and being a faithful provider to his family. Harold had an extremely big heart and was always thinking of others especially when he stepped in and raised his brother Charles’ children after he passed and was consistently and endlessly helping others whenever a need arose.  

Harold passed away peacefully in West Bloomfield on August 11, 2025. He is survived by his children (names), grandchildren (names), great grandchildren (names), nieces and nephews that he raised (names), brothers and sisters (names), special mention of his niece Angela Kimble who cared for him the last 3 years of his life and a host of many more nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
