Hans Gustav Olson Hans Olson passed away on April 5, 2017. Hans was born on June 14, 1960 in Tacoma, Washington, and was a lifelong resident of the Tacoma-Puyallup area. He attended Waller Road Elementary, Aylen Junior High, and Puyallup High School. Hans worked at Manke Lumber Company for 21 years as a truck and equipment mechanic. Hans was a DSHS-certified home health care aide. He enjoyed fishing trips with friends, and vegetable gardening. Children and animals loved Hans. His insightful wit, intelligence, humor, and companionship will be greatly missed. Hans was preceded in death by parents Harold and Caroline Olson and by brothers Brandt Olson, Jim Stuart, and Dick Thornton. Hans is survived by brothers Erling Olson and Loren Olson. A memorial service will be held on June 3 at 1:00 p.m. at the Waller Road Grange. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the .
