Hanneh Ahwal, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on March 9, 2026 in Livonia, Michigan at the age of 90.

Born on Christmas Day in 1935 to proud parents Abraham and Martha, Hanneh lived a life filled with love and laughter. She married the love of her life, Jabra Ahwal, in 1953 and together they raised a beautiful family of eight children: Sylvia Bahbah, Terry Morris, Julie Ahwal, Maggie Kafarani, Stella Omar, Ghada Omar, Michael Ahwal, and Espie Dawson.

Hanneh was known for her infectious smile, her delicious cooking, and her kind heart. She was a pillar of strength for her family and friends, always there to offer support and guidance.

Although she will be deeply missed, Hanneh's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. We take comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with her beloved husband in eternal peace.
