Gwindine Flowers, 72, of Dayton, Ohio, passed on July 13, 2023, from her long battle with Lupus. Gwindine was born on December 27, 1950, in Commerce, GA. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, a brother, and 2 sons. She is survived by her husband; Kenneth Flowers, a brother; Marlon (PeeWee), two brother in-laws; Rodney and Victor, two daughters; Yvonne and Vondeen, stepson; Leair, ten grandchildren, two great grandsons, and a host of relatives and friends. 

She graduated from Eisenhower high school in Blue Island, IL. She worked for RTA in Kankakee, IL for 10 years and as a caregiver in Illinois and Ohio for a combined 30 years with the mentally disabled. Gwen was baptized as a Jehovah's Witness in 1976 and was married to Kenneth for 38 years. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, music, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends. Gwen is known for lighting up a room, having a wonderful and uplifting demeanor, and was very generous. All the memories shared will forever be remembered and Gwen will forever remain in the hearts of everyone.
