Riddle, Guy Rodgers Guy Rodgers Riddle was born on April 25, 1937 to Guy Drummond Riddle and Verna Kay Riddle of Hannibal, Missouri. He attended Pettibone Elementary School and Hannibal High School. His college career began with 2 years at Hannibal La Grange. He then Transferred to University of Missouri majoring in Journalism. He served in the US Army for 2 years after earning his bachelor's degree at University of Missouri in Columbia. He started his career as an editor of the Employee Newspaper in Chicago before transferring to Phoenix in 1966, where he worked another 28 years. While he was in Phoenix, he met the love of his life, Carol in 1972. They married the following year and had 1 son, Guy Riddle, II (Rod). He was an active member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church. He was also active in Rotary. He enjoyed playing bridge, and traveling. He was a great sports fan and admired classic cars. He is survived by his wife, Carol Riddle and son, Guy Riddle, II (Rod). In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Valley Lutheran High School or Phoenix Rotary. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 7th, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, at A.L. Moore-Grimshaw Mortuary, 710 W Bethany Home Rd. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 8th, at 11:00 AM, at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, 5105 N. 7th Ave. Inurnment will be held on Monday, July 10th, at 9:30 AM, at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N Cave Creek Rd.
