Guadalupe Santos Moreno, 63 of Brawley, CA; passed away on September 4, 2011. He was born on July 27, 1948 in Brentwood, CA. He married Adelina Castillo on December 19, 1968. Guadalupe worked for Leon Dolente in 1966 for 3 years. Then he worked for Sperber in 1969 for 1 year. Followed by John Benson in 1970. He has worked for Jordan/Central Implement in 1970 for 32 years. He dedicated his life in repairing tractors. He enjoyed refurbishing furniture, gardening and most of all he loved going to the casinos. Guadalupe is preceded in death by his mother, Froila; father, Salvador, sisters, Victoria and Hermina; twin brother and sister, name unknown and Martha all from Mexicali, B.C. He is survived by his wife, Adelina; daughter, Luz Maria (Lucy) Rahiotis; son-in-law, John Rahiotis; son, Guadalupe (Lupito) Moreno Jr.; daughter-in-law, Tonya King; and grandchildren; Siblings, Maria of El Centro, Salvador Jr. (Lidia), Victor (Ana), Anastacio (Nela), Pedro (Martha), Juan (Fabiola), Alberto (Rosie), Angelina (Salvador) and Gustavo (America) all reside of Mexicali, B.C. plus nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2011 at Frye Chapel and Mortuary in Brawley at 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Service will be held on Monday, September 12, 2011 at St. Margaret Mary Church at 9 a.m. Burial will immediately follow at Riverview Cemetery.
