Guadalupe Anya of Houston , Texas, passed away on July 26, 2025, at the age of 81. She was born on March 6, 1944.

Guadalupe, known for her culinary skills and dedication to her family, spent her days as a stay-at-home wife, cooking up delicious meals for her loved ones. Her famous tamales and enchiladas will be sorely missed by those who had the pleasure of tasting them.

Despite the unexpected and sad tragedy that took her from us, Guadalupe leaves behind four children - Salvador Puebla, Jose Anya, Juan Anya, and Camila Anya - who will cherish the memories of their beloved mother. She also leaves behind six adoring grandchildren Salvador Puebla, Maria Cura, Leonardo Puebla, Victor Puebla, Maria McCarty and Rose Anya who will miss her warm hugs and endless stories.

Guadalupe's laughter and love brought light to the lives of all who knew her. She may no longer be with us, but her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched

Funeral arrangements will be held at 10:00am on August 6, 2025 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 2730 Nelwood Drive, Houston, TX 77038.
