We are saddened to announce the passing of Gregory Bester, who was born on May 8, 1964, in Atlanta, Georgia. He passed away on May 3, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Gregory was the beloved son of Willie Earl Bester and Ethel Mae Bester. He was the devoted husband of Katie Ruth Bester, with whom he shared 30 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they raised two children: Gregory Bester Jr (spouse Shelly Bester) and Linda Beasley (spouse Joseph Beasley).

Gregory was also a proud grandfather to three grandchildren. His family was the light of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

Gregory was a graduate of Frederick Douglass High School and went on to work at Gerdau Cartersville steel plant. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and spending time outdoors.

Gregory will be remembered for his infectious laugh, kind heart, and love for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Rest in peace, Gregory. You will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
