Greg St. Hilaire Sr.73,passed away surrounded by his wife, daughters, and son on June 18, 2025.
Greg's service to his country as a proud Vietnam veteran exemplified his bravery and selflessness that continued on as he built a life around faith, love and dedication to his family.
He married the love of his life, Judy in 1984, and together they created a warm and nurturing home filled with love and laughter.
An avid Chicago Cubs fan, Greg found joy in sharing countless unforgettable memories with his daughter Stephanie, son Greg and family watching and attending games that contributed to his trademark smile and good humor which brought light to all those around him.
He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Judy St. Hilaire, who stood by his side through every joy and challenge; his three children, whom he was so proud of: Misty Molz (Andrew), Stephanie St. Hilaire, and Greg St. Hilaire Jr. and grandchildren: Brayden, Bryson, Braxton, Savanna, Harlow, Olivia, Tomas, and Gemma, as well as his great-grandchildren: Everlee and Waylon. Greg found immense joy in being a "Papa," celebrating every milestone and creating lasting memories with his grandchildren.
He is also survived by his siblings: Meg Castner (Jack), Kim Romang, Tim,Tom, Shawn and Kevin St. Hilaire (Dana) along with many nieces and nephews and a special brother-in-law: Kevin Woodruff.
Greg was preceded in death by his parents, George and Phyllis St. Hilaire, as well as his beloved mother-in-law, Lois Means (Allen), father-in-law, Jesse Woodruff, and brother-in-laws, John Woodruff and Frank Woodruff.
Greg will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by his family, grandchildren, friends, church family, and all who were blessed to know him. His faith,love and contagious smile will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who crossed his path.
A memorial service will be held on June 28, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at VFW Post 99, located at 3920 N. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr., Decatur, IL 62526, to celebrate the remarkable life of Greg St. Hilaire.
