Gregory Joseph Besse, aged 78, passed away on May 14, 2024, in Collierville, Tennessee. Born on June 9, 1945, in Oakland, California, Greg spent his early years in his birth state before moving to Collierville, where he lived for the last 30 years of his life.

Greg was a passionate individual with a profound expertise in technology. He dedicated many years to building and fixing computers for various companies, a career that he immensely enjoyed. Known for his sharp wit and intelligence, Greg was an avid debater, a talented piano player, and a lover of science fiction. His hobbies included river rafting during his younger days, collecting movies, books, music and staying updated with the latest gadgets. Greg was also an exceptional cook, famous among friends and family for his delicious deviled eggs every holiday season.

His kindness and caring nature were particularly evident in his dedication to his wife, Linda, during her battle with lung cancer. Greg is now reunited with Linda, who preceded him in death in 2021 after 48 years of marriage.

Greg leaves behind a loving family, including his daughters Erica, Christy, Raelene, and Suzanne; grandchildren Leeana, Damien, Christopher, Logan, and McKayla; his son in law Gerald, his brother Ken, & many other beloved family members and friends. The Besse family is also expecting the arrival of Greg's first great-grandson. His cherished cat Itsy has been rehomed following his passing.

In addition to his wife, Greg was preceded in death by his parents, Irene and Ralph Besse; sisters Connie, Muriel, and Patricia; and his beloved pets Doogie, Suki, Teddy, Petey, Corky, and Honeybear.

Greg's legacy of love, laughter, and technological wizardry will be remembered by his many friends and family members.
