GRACE RUTH DALBY Ruth, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, passed away on November 14, 2016. Ruth, the youngest child, was born on August 5, 1924 in North Providence, Rhode Island to Adelbert and Grace Matteson. Ruth married Frederick Dalby on September 18, 1948. Their son, Alan, was born in 1949. Fred and Ruth moved to California in 1956 and built their dream home in Canyon Lake in 1978. Ruth loved to play cards, go camping, enjoy a glass of brandy and keep in touch with family and friends. She never forgot a birthday or anniversary and she made new friends wherever she went. In her last years, she devoted herself to caring for Fred and was heartbroken when he passed in July. She is survived by her son, Alan (Sandie) of Menifee; granddaughters Laura (Danny) Ciesla of Jurupa Valley and Beth (Dominic DiLeva) of Riverside; and great-grandchildren Danae, Corrinne and Aidan Ciesla. A memorial service will be held at Riverside National Cemetery, 22495 Van Buren Blvd., Riverside, 92518 on December 12 at 10:45 a.m.
